NASCO Secures Brisbane Headquarters
Newly formed National Auctions and Solutions Company (Qld) trading as NASCO Auctioneers has secured a substantial warehouse/showroom complex at Eagle Farm in Brisbane for its Queensland headquarters.
NASCO has leased 340 Curtin Avenue, Eagle Farm, in a deal negotiated by Ray White Industrial Milton’s Paul Anderson.
Paul Anderson said the property was ideal for NASCO as it offered a total land area of 8,200 sqm with a hardstand component of 4,500 sqm and a 1,706 sqm building, including a 1400 sqm highbay clearspan warehouse and a two level 266 sqm office showroom.
“This site suited NASCO with its highbay shed, scope to drive through the warehouse, large concrete yard and washbay facilities,” Mr Anderson said.
“It’s a very difficult facility to replicate in the tightly held precinct of Eagle Farm.”
Paul Anderson said he sold the complex to its current owner, a locally based investor, in 2004.
“It is gratifying on a professional level to handle the re-leasing for the owner a decade later,” he said.
NASCO’s Chris Goscomb said the company was looking for a large site for its headquarters.
“NASCO is a newly formed Australian-owned auctions, valuations and remarketing company,” he said.
“We conduct auctions on-site in Brisbane as well as at Roma, Dalby and Biloela. This Eagle Farm property was ideal for our company head office and Brisbane auction venue.”
NASCO has taken out a 4 + 4 year lease at a net rental of $360,000 per annum.
